Help make Case Studied the best marketing newsletter on the internet
How We’re Making Case Studied Even Better
Over the past year, our team has been hard at work taking Case Studied from an idea to a newsletter with 12k subscribers, many of which are CMOs and Executives at some of the biggest companies in the world.

To say the stakes have never been higher is an understatement.
Our intention is to never take for granted that you allow us to email you every week and in order to continue providing you value, we ask that you take 2-minutes out of your day to take our survey and give us valuable feedback.
Introducing Our New Branding

For our eagle-eyed readers, you may have noticed a new look for Case Studied. In line with our commitment to improving the experience of our newsletter, we have overhauled the design of our brand to reflect the quality of the work we put out.
We hope you like the new look!
Our 5 Favorite Case Studies
Since there is no new volume of Case Studied this week, we thought it was a great chance for our team to share 5 of our favorite Case Studies that you might have missed over the past few months:
Editor’s Note: This edition was not originally published on the newsletter and had only been released as a “secret” volume for new subscribers. Our deep dive into the Ice Bucket Challenge and how they capitalized on the virality of the campaign was one of the first volumes we wrote.
Editor’s Note: Marketers have been fighting with ad blockers for years, so seeing an innovative campaign like the one Netflix rolled out to promote Black Mirror was not only groundbreaking, but also drove huge results.
Editor’s Note: Making water cool sounds like the kind a pipe dream. That is why the success of Liquid Death is not only entertaining but a masterclass in what can be achieved in even the most difficult of categories.
Editor’s Note: We do our best to cover campaigns that stand out for positive reasons, however every once in a while we examine a campaign that would classify as a cautionary tale. This particular Pepsi case study feels incredibly relevant given the political climate brands have to operate in and presents a strong argument for diversity in gathering feedback.

Editor’s Note: A lot of research goes into the campaigns that we feature every week. Sometimes we struggle to find a lot of sources or details, but for this particular case study featuring Loom’s Account Based Marketing strategy, their team provided an open book for us to learn from, creating a very detailed look at how to succeed in B2B.
