Campaigns of the week 📺
Etsy x Olivia Rodrigo's "Daisy Chain Fields" merch collection.
Etsy partnered with Olivia Rodrigo and 10 female-owned Etsy shops ahead of the pop star’s debut music festival, Daisy Chain Fields. They launched a limited handmade collection that includes journal kits, embroidered patches, and beaded jewelry designed by the sellers. The collection is exclusive to Etsy and fans can meet the makers in person on-site at the festival. Source: Ads of the World
Why it stood out: This partnership puts small sellers at the center of a major celebrity tie-in and reinforced the value proposition that differentiates Etsy from larger marketplaces: handmade, small-batch goods from independent sellers.
Rimowa's $7,100 dartboard case with Winmau.
The luxury luggage house teamed up with professional darts brand Winmau on a limited-edition case. It's finished in Rimowa's signature grooved aluminum and priced at $7,100. The July 30 launch comes with a hero film shot inside Rimowa's Cologne factory in Germany, directed by Grégoire Dyer. Walton Goggins stars as a security guard who turns a solo game of darts into pre-match superstitions. Source: Hypebeast
Why it stood out: Rimowa used the same aluminum and hardware as its suitcases, priced it like one, and filmed the launch inside its actual factory. That level of consistency signals design continuity in a way a licensed logo alone would not.
Prada's "Simple Stories" campaign, directed by Barry Jenkins.
Prada tapped the Academy Award-winning director of "Moonlight" to helm its Fall/Winter 2026 campaign. Actors Chen Haoyu, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Hunter Schafer, and Troye Sivan star in a series of quiet, cinematic vignettes by Jenkins. Instead of posed product shots, the imagery leans into ordinary, almost private moments. Source: Prada
Why it stood out: Bringing in a filmmaker known for intimate, character-driven storytelling marks a departure from the posed, aspirational imagery standard in luxury fashion campaigns. Plus, leaning into quiet, ordinary moments over overt product presentation asks viewers to sit with mood and atmosphere rather than scan for the clothes.
Modelo's billboard you can barely see.
To launch Modelito, a smaller 210ml bottle, Modelo and agency GUT Mexico City built a massive billboard in Mexico City. The twist? The product itself is barely visible against the huge format, paired only with the line "Great taste in a small size." Source: Famous Campaigns
Why it stood out: Billboards are built to be read in a few seconds by someone driving past but this one breaks that rule on purpose. You can't actually see the product unless you stop, photograph it, and zoom in.
