Powerade answers Novig's Sydney Sweeney campaign

The dispute began on Sept. 9, when prediction market Novig launched its "Just Sports" campaign starring Sydney Sweeney. The ads show Sweeney almost entirely nude, using sports equipment to cover herself, and drew criticism from several women athletes. Powerade, Coca-Cola's sports drink brand, responded with "Never Just Sports" in Times Square. The ads were created by Ogilvy and feature footage of real women athletes. Novig released a second Sweeney spot in the same style on Oct. 11. Inc. notes that Powerade's past women's sports work includes two NCAA March Madness campaigns with Flau'Jae Johnson and Paris Olympics work with Sha'Carri Richardson and Katie Grimes.

Lamborghini makes a film about organ-transport runs.

Lamborghini released "Living Twice" on Oct. 9, European Organ, Tissue and Cell Donation Day. The Dentsu Creative Italy film draws on Lamborghini's collaboration with Italy's State Police, which began in 2004. According to State Police data, officers have completed more than 200 organ transport missions in Lamborghini vehicles since then. The Weiland Brothers directed the film through Karen Film, and Paul Hamy stars. Italy's National Transplant Center reported a record 4,678 organ transplants in 2025.

Rivian brings back Bill Murray as Peter Venkman

Rivian partnered with Sony Pictures on a Ghostbusters Halloween Mode, delivered as a free over-the-air update to R1T, R1S, and R2 vehicles. The update adds themed lights, sounds, hidden characters, and a game playable while parked, and is live from Oct. 9 through Nov. 2. Bill Murray reprises Peter Venkman in "Answering the Call," a 71-second spot that went up on Rivian's YouTube channel on Oct. 8. Gil Kenan, director of "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire," directed it. Rivian's Special Projects team built physical Ecto-R1s from the R1S. They'll appear at Rivian locations in Laguna Beach, Austin, Venice, Miami Brickell, San Francisco, and NYC.
