Betty Crocker turns a packaging refresh into a handbag drop.

Betty Crocker is refreshing its packaging with bolder colors and new photography, calling it the 'Bettier Than Ever' era. The brand marked the launch with The Betty Ate Collection: three $89 vegan-leather handbags shaped like slices of cake. The first drop launched ahead of New York Fashion Week, with a second round scheduled for September 10. It’s the brand's second limited-edition accessory tie-in in less than a year, following a "SuperMoist" apparel line in November 2025. Source: People

ZIJkant sends women to prison to make its equal pay point.

Belgian women's rights group ZIJkant and agency mortierbrigade built its Equal Pay Day film around one fact: prisoners who work in Belgium earn a fixed, gender-equal wage, while women outside earn roughly 20% less. The film follows women going to increasing lengths—shoplifting, announcing a heist, joining a bank robbery—to get themselves arrested. Source: Famous Campaigns

Starbucks marked the August 25 return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte with a video pairing Martha Stewart with "Off Campus" actor Belmont Cameli.
